Marteau Films Production is a French company focused on genre films, with a taste for thrillers and fantasy stories.
Created in 2011, Marteau has produced three feature films: haunted house movie HOUSE OF VHS by Gautier Cazenave, black & white thriller THE GIRL WITH TWO FACES by Romain Serir and found footage vampire film NOSFERATU.COM by Julien Dève.
As of 2024, three films are in pre-production: SHERLOCK HOLMES VS FRANKENSTEIN directed by Gautier Cazenave and coproduced by UK company Parkland Pictures; French/Italian coproduction MAGUY directed by Francesco Zarzana; and THE THIN PINK LINE, a buddy cop film directed by Jane Clark and coproduced with US company FilmMcQueen.
Future projects include action/horror movies THE WEREWOLF MUMMY, CURSE OF THE MUSKETEERS and NINJA SHARKBUSTERS IN PARIS.
Marteau also acts as a service provider or coproducer for foreign productions filmed in France. Its distribution arm Bzz Video provides French subtitling and dubbing services.
