Marteau Films Production is a French company focused on genre films, with a taste for thrillers and fantasy stories.
Created in 2011, Marteau has produced three feature films: haunted house movie HOUSE OF VHS by Gautier Cazenave, black & white thriller THE GIRL WITH TWO FACES by Romain Serir and found footage vampire film NOSFERATU.COM by Julien Dève.
As of 2025, three films are in pre-production: SHERLOCK HOLMES VS FRANKENSTEIN directed by Gautier Cazenave and coproduced by UK company Parkland Pictures; and two italian coproductions to be announced.
Future projects include action/horror movies POWER PLANT, CURSE OF THE MUSKETEERS and NINJA SHARKBUSTERS IN PARIS.
Marteau also acts as a service provider or coproducer for foreign productions filmed in France.
Since 2017, its distribution arm Bzz Video has released several genre movies in French-speaking Europe.
In 2023, BZZ became one of the first companies to provide AI-powered subtitling and dubbing services.
